Obituaries

An animal welfare advocate to the last, she was a lifetime member and former president of the Philippine Veterinary Medical Association, Philippine
Federation of Professional Associations, and Council of Professional Health Associations, and an Oblation Awardee of the University of the Philippines.

Above all else, she was an enthusiast of music, dance, laughter, and fun.

She is survived by children Bel, Malou, and Doc Jing; grandchildren Mara, Ria, Melvin, Manfred, Abbey, Alex, Gie, King, Queen, and Rose; great-grandchild Champ; nephew Flor; and in-laws Nelly, Roel, Mac, Aileen, and Cris.
